If you’re looking for glowing, healthy skin with no downtime, a Hydrafacial is one of the most effective and popular treatments available. Hydrafacial is an invigorating treatment that can be given in as little as 30 minutes. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. It offers instant, noticeable results with no downtime or irritation. The Hydrafacial treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturising serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.
At Revitalise Skincare Clinic, one question we are often asked is “how often should I have a Hydrafacial?”. If you too are wondering the answer to this question, read our blog post to find out.
How often should I have a Hydrafacial?
For most people, we recommend having a Hydrafacial every 4 weeks. This aligns perfectly with the skins natural renewal cycle, helping to keep pores clear, skin hydrated and your complexion consistently radiant. However, frequency can vary depending on your skins needs. Whilst we do recommend having regular treatments for monthly maintenance, occasional treatments are also great before special events to give an instant glow boost. Our Practitioner at Revitalise Skincare Clinic always tailors treatment specifically for individual patient needs.
What skin concerns can a Hydrafacial treat?
Hydrafacial is suitable for almost all skin types and can help improve a wide range of concerns, including:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Dull, dehydrated skin
- Congested skin
- Large pores
- Acne and breakouts
- Uneven skin tone and texture
- Hyperpigmentation and sun damage
- Oily or unbalanced skin
Because it’s both corrective and preventive, Hydrafacial works well as a part of a long term skin health routine.
What does a Hydrafacial treatment include?
Hydrafacial treatments use patented vortex technology to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin – without discomfort or downtime. At Revitalise Skincare Clinic, we offer both Signature and Platinum Hydrafacial treatments.
Signature Hydrafacial –
The Signature Hydrafacial focuses on 3 core steps, which are the essentials for fresh and healthy skin.
- Cleanse – Dead skin cells and impurities are gently removed revealing smoother skin.
- Extract and Hydrate – remove debris from pores with painless suction. Nourish with intense moisturisers that quench skin.
- Fuse and Protect – Saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximise your glow.
The signature Hydrafacial is perfect if you’re new to Hydrafacial treatments or want a regular skin refresh. This treatment takes around 30 minutes.
Platinum Hydrafacial –
The Platinum Hydrafacial includes everything in the Signature Hydrafacial, plus advanced steps for a more advanced facial treatment.
- Detox – This step is going to increase lymphatic circulation in your skin. Better lymphatic circulation not only helps move out toxins but also increases blood flow, providing extra oxygen to invigorate the skin. The skin is hydrated and supported by fresh lymph, restoring tone and firmness.
- Cleansing and Exfoliation – A vacuum-based abrasion tip will gently smooth away dead skin cells while delivering serum directly to the fresh new skin beneath. This serum is brimming with ingredients to revitalise and support your skin, such as lactic acid, glucosamine, antioxidants, and botanical extracts, all of which are customised to treat your skin’s needs.
- Brightening Agent – Now that pore-blocking old skin cells have been swept away, a glycolic and salicylic solution is applied to gently break up congestion in the pores. This will brighten your skin and at the same time prep the pores for the next step.
- Extraction – Unlike many facials, the extraction process is very gentle. We use salicylic acid and honey to draw out blackheads and other impurities. This is an important step to ensure your pores are clean and able to benefit from the tightening effects of the treatment.
- Hydration – This step nourishes your skin and drenches it in moisture, with a mix of potent antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and peptides and multi-peptides to support collagen. This step will leave your skin soft and plump with moisture, combating the appearance of wrinkles.
- Rejuvenation – LED light therapy. This will soothe your skin, reducing redness, and stimulating the production of collagen. It even helps your skin naturally produce vitamin D.
The Platinum Hydrafacial is ideal for individuals wanting visible results and who are looking for a highly targeted, comprehensive treatment that will address all of their skin concerns.

How is the Hydrafacial treatment different from a typical facial?
Unlike traditional facials, Hydrafacial delivers medical-grade, results driven treatment using advanced technology in combination with customisable skincare. Here’s what sets it apart –
- No manual extraction – gentle suction removes impurities from the pores
- Instant results – you will see brighter, smoother skin straight after treatment
- No downtime – you can return to your normal activities immediately
- Customised for your skin – we can tailor boosters and settings specifically to you
- Suitable for sensitive skin – even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Treatment is non-irritating and deeply hydrating
