Vivace uses a combination of heat and needling to rebuild collagen, making it especially useful for skin tightening, body tightening, stretch mark removal and scar reduction. It also has a few other surprising benefits such as minimising pores and killing acne bacteria.
We use the vivace device for all our RF Microneedling procedures. When the pins of this device enter the skin, they transmit radio frequency energy through multiple levels of the skin. Through this process, the skin receives both a controlled physical injury, (as you do with all Microneedling devices), plus the added effect of heat. This dual effect in multiple layers of the skin creates dramatic collagen production and skin tightening.
Yes, of course you can tighten your neck with vivace. In fact, we recommend treating your face, neck and chest all at the same time because these areas are exposed to the elements and are quick to age.
Virtually anywhere. The most popular areas to treat are the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, face and neck. Anywhere where you feel your skin is damaged, sagging or loose is an area that can be improved with vivace.
The epidermis is very prone to pigmentation problems if not protected. Knowing this, we prefer RF Microneedling which uses coated needles that protect the top layer of skin (epidermis) from heat injury. As a result, our process eliminates the risk of pigmentation or discolouration. Lasers, however cannot avoid the top layer of the skin. This is why laser treatments are riskier for tan or dark skin. RF Microneedling, on the other hand, is safe and effective for any skin colour.
Prior to Vivace treatment we offer patients a medical consultation to educate, discuss concerns, find out medical history and consider the most beneficial and safest treatment options.
